Schladming gets ready

In the course of the MEVZA Beach Volleyball Championships in Schladming, the beach volleyball courts at the Erlebnisbad were comprehensively modernized and optimally prepared for the international tournament. The facility is now in excellent condition and offers ideal conditions for elite sport, youth training, and recreational sports in the region.

A key part of the work was the renewal and preparation of the playing surfaces. A total of 231 tons of high-quality sand were delivered and professionally installed. These extensive measures not only improved the visual appearance of the courts but also adapted them to the requirements of an international beach volleyball event. The modernized facilities ensure the best possible conditions for both athletes and spectators.

The MEVZA Beach Volleyball Championships represent a major sporting highlight for Schladming and once again underline the importance of modern sports infrastructure for the region. At the same time, local clubs, schools, children, young people, and recreational athletes will benefit in the long term from the renewed beach volleyball courts at Erlebnisbad Schladming.
